Warranty & Safety
The purpose of this document is so that you have a full understanding of our Official Warranty and in exchange for the purchase of Osone® products, you agree to be bound by the following Official Warranty around your purchase.
- Parties. We will refer to Bricklayer LLC DBA Osone®, as an LLC based in the State of Delaware as “Osone®”, “us” or “we” or “our”, and we’ll refer to you, the undersigned (electronically or by hand) or person as “you”, “the Buyer”, or “your”.
- Warranty of Products for Residential Use. Osone® products include a one year limited warranty. Wear and tear does not apply and warranty is void if used in a commercial setting. The one year limited warranty begins when the product is delivered to the Buyer per the shipping carrier’s tracking information.
- Non-Transferable. Any limited warranty is strictly non-transferable.
- What We Will Do. At our sole discretion, we will provide free repair or replacement parts of any defective product or component that has been installed, used, and serviced normally within the specified warranty period. If it is determined that a replacement product is necessary, we may elect to send a refurbished product which shall be in equal or better aesthetic condition with proper like-new functionality. The repaired or replaced product will carry the remainder of the original manufacturer's warranty.
- What You Must Do. To submit a warranty request, a claim must be submitted within the one year warranty period. Claims should be submitted to info@theOsone.com. When submitting a claim, please provide a description of your problem, the original order number, and your proof of purchase. In order to facilitate a repair, replacement parts or a full replacement of the product itself, we may ask for photos or videos to better understand the nature of the repair. We may also ask to have the affected product be packaged for shipment back to us and packed in such a way as to limit shipping damages. If the product is received with damage, we will inform you, but we are not responsible for shipping damages due to improper packaging.
- Wear and Tear. Wear and Tear is not included in the limited warranty. In our sole discretion, we shall determine what constitutes “wear and tear” including but not limited to; discoloration or staining of the product itself, deterioration of components, improper maintenance including but not limited to adhering to a filter replacement schedule.
-
Limited Warranty Exclusions. While our warranty covers manufacturing defects in the chiller, pump, hoses, and fittings, it is limited by owner responsibility. Note: Physical damage or functional failure of the pump assembly, or any associated components, resulting from the following is EXCLUDED from warranty coverage:
- Exposure to freezing conditions or failure to properly winterize the unit.
- Inadequate or improper maintenance of filters and components.
- Improper water chemistry (e.g., excessive chlorine, bromine, or low/high pH levels damaging internal seals).
- General owner negligence, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
-
Routine Maintenance. Routine maintenance is required to keep the product properly functioning. In the event a customer was negligent in performing routine maintenance, including but not limited to the items below, the warranty will not apply.
- Replacing or cleaning water filters every 2-4 weeks. A dirty water filter disrupts water flow and pressure creating additional strain on the pump.
- Using non-OEM parts including but not limited to: hoses (do not attach hoses over 5ft in length as this will disrupt water flow, introduce air and cause unnecessary strain on the pump), additional T-valve and L-valve connections (narrow diameter valves will cause water flow disruption throughout the chiller lines and ultimately the pump). Non-OEM parts can cause a number of issues including have differing internal diameters causing irregular water flow, introducing air and additional strain or clogging of the chiller lines and chiller pump.
- Introducing excessive dirt, sand, debris or other elements into the water.
-
Warranty Exclusions. The limited warranty is void if any of the following are true.
- Osone® determines that the product has been subjected to alteration, neglect or misuse.
- Any repairs performed by anyone other than Osone® without written consent from Osone®.
- Any non-OEM parts used in conjunction with the Chiller such as but not limited to: L-valves or T-valves and/or non-OEM hose types and lengths as all items described can impact pump pressure and usage.
- Chillers operated at temperatures lower than advertised: 36°F for Pro Chiller and 39°F for Standard Chiller.
- Chillers left outdoors in sub-freezing temperatures causing water to freeze within and rendering the components inoperable.
- Chillers operated in a Commercial setting.
