Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to drain my Cold Plunge?

1400 GPH (gallons per hour) max flow:

Drain your 70 gallon Pod in 6 min

Drain your 150 gallon Barrel in 12 min

Drain your 200 gallon Tub in 15 min

Is the Sump Pump waterproof?

Yes, the pump is submersible and will go directly into the water.

How will I know when it is done pumping?

As soon as you hear the pump start to "gurgle" or "slurp" air, you should turn it off as this is a sign it is no longer moving water to stay cool or lubricated. This usually happens when there is less than 1" of standing water remaining in your cold plunge.

Should I monitor my Sump Pump while in use?

Absolutely. You should never leave your sump pump unattended while in use to prevent any damage once water has been fully removed.

How loud is the Sump Pump?

~40dB or virtually silent. As it is under water, the pump creates a very low humming noise.

"I've walked away for a second and came back into the room and could only tell it was on because I could still see water coming out of the other end of the hose"
