The UV purification system is used for eradicating microorganisms, reducing chemical usage and eliminating harmful by-products. By disrupting the DNA of microorganisms, protozoans, viruses, and bacteria lose their ability to reproduce therefore becoming inactive. Water passing through the UV chamber is sanitized by an ultraviolet system as it passes the lamp.
